Alcoholism

Richard's alcoholism is so severe that a 12 step program would be to no avail. I gently nudged Richard into a 27 step program.

Step 1: "We admitted we needed electrical power up in the loft—without electrical power our lives had become unmanageable. "

Flashlights and luminescent watches become tiresome real fast. Richard will humbly ask Uncle Joe to restore electrical power to the loft.
