Kind of a boring day

Drizzly and overcast, but we did get in a couple of walks . Richard tried to get a library card, but he needs some mail sent to him to prove his residence. If anyone is so inclined our address is:

Richard Ryan (not Sweetheart)
863 Falls of Clyde Loop SE
Ocean Shores, WA 98569

Richard got pissed at the librarian because he couldn't bring me in. Richard must get a life.

That's all for now.

Love,

Sweetheart

First AA Meeting

Richard and I went to the beach this morning, but no walk. He spent an hour talking to a guy named Don Redd, a Viet Nam vet. Don is a retired grounds keeper and his wife is a retired deli worker They spend 6 months a year travelling with an Air-Stream.

Came home and went to an AA meeting. Richard told the group I have 3 months of sobriety under my collar. Richard can be a real a-hole at times.

After the meeting Joe, Richard, and I went and got my ears checked and I got flea meds. All free of charge from PAWS.

Home now and chilling. Life is good.

Sweetheart

Waiting for the Cable Guy

Joe lost his cable this weekend and he was not happy. Today Richard I spent most of the morning waiting for the cable guy. Everything is fine now, and Richard and I even managed to get a walk on the beach. Met a Dachshund (his name escapes me right now) who was real nice except for his jumping on my back.

Tonight Richard and Joe had chicken pot pie and mashed potatoes. As usual I got not a dang bite. But life is real good.

Tomorrow we're visiting Richard's new friend, Jeannie. That should be fun.

Richard needs to get a job, but a job where he can take me.

One more walk tonight and then bed.

Love,

Sweetheart

Walmart Day

Richard took me to another new place on the ocean. This is at the end of Taurus Blvd. Met lots of new puppies and think this spot is my favorite so far.

Joe complained about my typos and I just said "Joe, I have no effen fingers!" He shut up.

Richard took me to Walmart today . He told the greeter that I'm a "service dog" and that I lower his blood pressure. They let me in but I had to stay in the cart. What fun! People made a fuss over me, but thought Richard a little strange. He bought socks and underwear, but nothing for me...but I've got the world on a string, and you know how song goes.

Joe continues to be great.

Love,

Sweethart

First Saturday in Ocean Shores--Yeah, baby!

Richard took me to a new place on the beach. Great walk and we found an eatery called "The Shrimp Boat Deli". We didn't catch a bite there, but we did get a menu and will probably eat there sometime. Later in the day Richard and Joe took me to the beach (twice in one day!) and I met many new dog pals. Both Richard and I are so glad Joe took us in.

Tonight Richard is making something he calls Irish Spagehetti. I don't get table scraps so I won't be able to report on what it tastes like.

Life is good here in OS.

Sweetheart

Another day, another dollar

Richard and I went to the beach again. Today he wore a coat, so he wasn't so cold. I love Joe and his cats and Richard explained to me how lucky the both of us are to have a place to live. Richard went out with his friend Lee, so I'm just basically waiting for people to come home..

Love and kisses from Ocean Shores.

A fun day

I don't usually post twice a day, but I do have some time on my paws. Richard and I went to the shore today and had a blast. Little cold, but a great walk. After the beach Richard went to IGA and bought me Beggin' Strips (he calls them "stinky treats") and a box of biscuits. Can life get any better? Then we took a short nap.

Let me introduce myself

I am a 3 year old Corgi-Terrier mix. My previous owners had to give me up because their kid was allergic to me. I don't know what allergic means, but hey, life deals you the hand you get. Yesterday a guy, Joe, and his brother Richard broke me out of an animal shelter in Aberdeen, WA. I now live with 7 cats and a raccoon. Pretty cool! I love Joe's house and he is very, very nice. Even slept in is bed for a while. Slept the first night upstairs with Richard. I'm getting used to the spiral staircase, but it scares me a bit. I am so lucky to be adopted by Joe and Richard and I will try to be a very good dog.

Richard tells me we are going to the beach today. Effen righteous.....
