Richard has given up news and politics

Richard does not:

-watch the news
-listen to the news
-read the news
-listen to talk radio
I'm hoping Richard is an ex-news/political junkie.

Always stay sweet,

Sweetheart

  1. Sweetie,
I have given up news also, I cancelled my subscription to the New York Review of Canines.

  2. Sweetie,
I know Richard gave up anything to do with the news. But does he still view or listen to Fox News? Just a thought.

  3. As one who sits and listens (endures) Richard's commentary (screaming, swearing, etc.) relating to Ron Beck, Sean Hannity and even the comely Ann Coulter, I can assure you that he still watches the evening news shows and, when applicable, even studies the streaming "futures" on the Bloomberg Channel.

I wouldn't call him a "junkie"--simply an interested watcher of the current world scene.

No, Gem, he seldom turns to the "Animal Channel," so that's probably why Sweetheart didn't notice his watching of the "Human Channels" ... so to speak.

  4. Sweetie,
I barked and then barfed when I saw reference to Ann Coulter as comely; a popsicle stick spewing vitriol maybe, but comely, come on!

  5. Since Sweetheart left the computer open and logged to her site, I may as well reply here and now. Ann Coulter is certainly a lovely lady--although I too disagree with many of her comments. I said "Ron Beck" accidentally (the name of an old friend from forty or so years ago) and not "Glenn Beck," the newscaster whom Richard (and possibly Sweetheart) watch nightly.

Anyway, good chatting with you, Gem.

    Love U.J.
