Door to door in Ecuador

Uncle Joe has a friend who is one of Jehovah's witnesses down south of the border. He also has a JW (Walt) out here who will not pass through our portal. Richard and I were watching a 1987 Billy Grahm meeting and Walt kind of freaked. Walt thinks Billy is aggressive.

New Year's Eve, Baby!

Richard and are having a Lean Cuisine Italian dinner tonight. With luck, we will have a couple of English Muffins with our dinner.

Richard and I are amazed by the gourmet delights one can create by just using a microwave oven and a toaster.

Please have a safe and sweet new year.

A fun day spent at a tire store--almost lke being at a water park

Poor Uncle Joe has been losing PSI out of one tire or another. Uncle Joe, Richard , and I went to Les Schwab today and Uncle Joe bougbt 2 tires. I think the staff had boat payments to make. Turns out Uncle Joe had 2 bald rear tires, and he drives very late at night. Plus, he drove to Seattle on his bald tires. Bill Puckett would say (rhymes with Pucket) to that idea.

Very good day.

No more cooking

Uncle Joe prefers Richard and I not use the stove or the oven. We are allowed to use the microwave and the toaster.. Richard and I are going to scope out the frozen food aisle at IGA tomorrow.

To anyone who reads this blog

Please have a safe and sweet holiday. Richard and I are having ham, mashed potatoes, and green peas. Neither of us are sweet eaters, so I don't know what we are having for dessert.

Great laundry day

Richard and I did his whites. Uncle Joe has a great f (oops, that word has been stricken from my vocabulary) washer/dryer combo. Richard is wearing socks for the first time in 3 weeks!

Thursday, Richard and I are washing his coloreds. Not his slaves! His cords, jeans, and sweaters.

Can life get any better than this?

Yuletide Greetings!

Uncle Joe and Bill Puckett (rhymes with?) will spend the holiday in Seattle. Richard and I are going to buy a huge bottle of vodka, take a flashlight up to the attic (oops, the loft) , and count our toes.

Sweetheart

Anyone know the "Way to San Jose" ?

Richard and I have a Yamaha keyboard and would like to post a duet on YouTube. We just need chords and lyrics.

Duly reprimanded

I promise never to use the "F-WORD" again on this blog. Richard washed my mouth out with soap. Actually, I think he washed my mouth out with marshmallows, which taste much better than Ivory soap. Maybe that is why I love the big lug, Well, at least maybe a small lug.

Cold and snowy

Today was cold and snowy..a fucked weather day. Oops, Uncle Joe told Richard I must not use the "F-WORD" anymore. Is the "F-WORD" food or fuck?

Since it is so cold and snowy I must contain my bladder for at least the next 12 to 14 hours.

Richard and I have no power nor heat up in our attic. Uncle Joe calls our attic a "loft" and Richard and I just wink at each other when we call the attic a "loft".

Our first storm

Yesterday was not horrible, although Richard and I spent many hours in the fucking dark. Uncle Joe bought some sort of generator machine that runs on gasoline, but nobody here knows how to run the fucking machine.

It might be a long and cold winter. We are praying for Joe Szabo and Biff.

First winter storm

Snow and heavy winds are predicted for the weekend.

Richard bought can goods and stinky treats. This could be fun!

Richard is considering joining the French Foreign Legion

He likes the hats. Also, most male Ryans (even in Connecticut-utopia) end up in the FFL

Just another Sunday

Richard and I enjoyed George Stephanopoulos's interview with Condoleezza Rice. Good news, David Gregory is taking over Press the Meet, that means Richard and I are free from 10 to 11 on Sunday mornings.

We met Mark's wife, Jane, this morning. Very, very nice lady, and today is Mark's b'day . Happy birthday Mark!

For Richard -One Fine Day

One fine day
You'll look at me
And you will know our love was
Meant to be
One fine day
You're gonna want me for your girl
The arms I long for
Will open wide
And you'll be proud to have me
By your side
One fine day
You're gonna want me for your girl
Though I know you're the
Kind of boy
Who only wants to run around
I'll keep waiting and
Someday darling
You'll come to me when you want to settle down oh
One fine day
We'll meet once more
And then you'll want the love you
Threw away before
One fine day
You're gonna want me for your girl
One fine day
We'll meet once more
And then you'll want the love you
Threw away before
One fine day
You're gonna want me for your girl

A day at the laundromat

Uncle Joe woke up this morning with a bug up his you-know-what to hit the laundromat in Aberdeen. After the flood and the fire, Uncle Joe and Richard finally got the hang of a using a laundromat . I stayed in the car.

Wonderful weather today, but no walk on the beach.

Uncle Joe and Richard had tuna melts tonight. I had the same damn lamb and rice dog food. After Richard and Uncle Joe go to sleep I will raid the cat food. Yum!

Richard and Billy worked hard today-I did not

Richard and Billy Rogers made a real dent in Uncle Joe's house. The house is beginning to look pretty good.

Jodie invited Richard and I for another romp in her backyard with her 2 puppies. Also, Jodie gave Richard a supplement that will help my joints, but I haven't had a joint in months.

I would love to meet Kristen, and we pray that Richard and I may return someday.

Always stay sweet.

Love,

Sweetheart
