Meltdown at the Library

Richard went a little nuts at the library today. The librarians called in the police and the police escorted Richard out. Everything is fine.

Richard is on Step 4

Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. Well, Richard made a fearless inventory of the attic:

  • 4 oscillating fans
  • 18 sport coats
  • Numerous white board erasers
  • Many, many baseball caps
  • 2 vacuums
  • Lots of underwear
  • 22 plaid shirts
Always stay sweet,

Sweetheart

Hola!

Recently, Richard and I have taken up Spanish.

Memorial Day the Vegan Way

Richard has decided that he, Uncle Joe, and I are going vegan for Memorial Day. Richard is serving up the following:

  • Veggie Hot Dogs (I won't eat anything with word the "dog" in it)
  • Boca Veggie Burgers made with organic soy
  • Veggie Baked Beans, non-dairy/gluten free/no cholesterol
  • Chickpea Salad
  • Veggie Ice Cream made with Agar-Agar flakes

Sound fun? (not). Sounds yummy? (not). Uncle Joe and I may slip out to the south side of the chalet and barbecue up a couple of burgers made from the finest USDA Blank Angus beef.

Always stay sweet,

Sweetheart

Sprucing Up the Attic - Part 2

This is the kitchen configuration Richard and I have decided upon. The island in the middle is a sweet touch and will give our guests a place to sip wine while Richard prepares one of his gourmet meals. The kitchen will be a bit pricey, but between Richard's job as a Certified Crash Test Dummy and my new job as Benji's stunt double we should be able to swing it. We still haven't decided on window treatments for the living room and den.

Always stay sweet,

Billy Mays vs. ShamWow Guy

Do you think Billy Mays (left) could take ShamWow Guy (below) in a wrestling match? I do. What the hey, I don't have a big life but this is the kind of thing i think about.

Always stay sweet,

Real good news

Uncle Joe was sent home from the hospital (see previous post) wearing a toe tag. Upon closer inspection, Richard and I noticed a twitch in Uncle Joe's left hand pinky finger. Using Uncle Joe's car battery, 2 oven mitts, and some tin foil, Richard and I managed to construct a crude but effective defibrillator. Uncle Joe may not be up and around, but he is up and stumbling.

Always stay sweet,

Sweetheart
