Not Very Comforting

Just in case Richard and Uncle Joe decide to go to the beach tomorrow, Richard and I went to the fireworks trailer and asked how to ignite and and launch our explosives. The young man in the trailer told Richard, "Just light the damn fuses and get out of the way."

No Fireworks this Year

Richard went out and bought a bagful of fireworks:

- KA Aerial Barages (flaming balls, ouch!)
- Banger Candles (something akin to roman candles)
- Ladybugs (emits showers of sparks, spins and rises into the air)

Because of the lack of rain here in western WA, and the fact that Richard may have a cocktail or 2, Richard decided to save the fireworks for another day. Richard figured he would just be asking for trouble.

Just the past week 14 residents here in Ocean Shores have been found dead with their faces immersed in a bowl of oat meal.
